Lowers pH in mash. Add 1 teaspoon per cup of water. Can use up to 4 teaspoons.

Can also be used to add a simple "sourness" to your beer, as this is the same compound produced by Lactobacillus - allowing you to brew with normal yeast and then add the sourness after the fact.
