Hallertau Blanc (German)
Brewing Usage: Aroma
Alpha Acids: 7 - 11%
Typical Beer Styles: American, Belgian, Wheat Styles
Other notes: Daughter of Cascade, Hallertau Blanc was bred to meet the needs of American craft beer styles. It has a moderate to strong flavor and aroma, featuring notes of pineapples, gooseberry, white grape, fresh lemongrass and passionfruit. It's reminiscent of many recent Southern Hemisphere varieties, but with a cleaner, less 'dank' profile.
All our in stock hops are stored cold to ensure the highest freshness possible. Alpha and Beta acid amounts vary between batches and may not be exactly as pictured, however are generally within the ranges stated above.
From BSG HandCraft's website: "To preserve freshness, all BSG HandCraft hops are packaged in nitrogen-flushed, oxygen- and light-barrier foil packages."
